Growing up, I had two loves: law and art! Opposites, I know. However, in high school, when I had to choose a career path, I chose what I believed to be “secure and stable”. So, I graduated from Towson University with my Bachelors in Law and American Civilization.

Being consistent, in my opinion, means me showing up every day no matter what and giving it my all. Setting boundaries means that I have happily said “NO!” to anything that does not fulfill me and bring me joy. It means that I am serving from my saucer and not my cup.

Starting the business was fuel for me because I realized that I could do both! I could be a loving and present mom, and I could be a boss! However, as I began to grow and really build my business, I had to be intentional about practicing balance and boundaries to avoid burnout.


Ultimately, my purpose crystallized into a desire to empower individuals to embrace their unique talents and passions, just as I had done. My journey as a single mom, coupled with my dedication to continuous self-improvement, allowed me to create a business that not only sustains me financially but also fulfills me emotionally.

The name of my business is now known as “B. Real Creative Studio” which I absolutely love! We create digital ecosystems that drive results and inspire action through brand strategy, visual identity and website design. Being “real,” suggests authenticity, transparency, and honesty.
